# After the Fees > A pricing check for small handmade sellers, at https://after-the-fees.skillsafe.ai/. Enter one listing's price, the shipping you charge, what postage and packaging cost you, materials and making time, and the page prints an itemised receipt of one sale: every marketplace fee, your costs and what you keep. Then see the break-even and target-margin prices, a coupon grid and where your price sits among competitors, and get a pricing read that suggests the price to move to. URL: https://after-the-fees.skillsafe.ai/ API tutorial: https://after-the-fees.skillsafe.ai/api.html ## What it does - Inputs: the item, list price, currency (USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD), coupon or sale percent, shipping the buyer pays, postage and packaging cost, materials, making time and hourly rate, target margin, offsite ads setting (15%, 12% or opted out) and the share of sales from offsite ads, competitor prices (typed or a dropped .txt/.csv) and a note on what makes the item worth it. Fee rates are editable; defaults are the 2026 US seller rates (listing 0.20, transaction 6.5%, payment processing 3% + 0.25, offsite ads capped at 100 per order). - Free, in the browser: a till-receipt drawing of one direct sale or one offsite-ad sale, where each fee and cost shaves a bar down to what you keep, stamped loses money, under target or on target; break-even and target-margin list prices; the expected profit per sale weighted by the offsite-ads share; a price ruler with break-even, target, your price, the suggested price and the competitor spread; a coupon grid (0 to 50%) for direct and offsite-ad sales; downloads as SVG, PNG, CSV, Markdown and JSON; saved listings with how the same listing was priced before. - Metered (one run on gpt-terra): a suggested list price with a verdict (raise, hold, lower or rethink), why it fits the numbers, why a buyer pays it (from your notes only), the largest safe coupon, free or charged shipping, what offsite ads mean for this listing, a competitor read, three to five steps and what to watch afterwards. The page then recomputes the suggested price and coupon with its own sums and lists any disagreement; "Try this price" moves the suggestion into the form for a second look. ## Contract POST https://api.skillsafe.ai/v1/app-api/run with string fields: task = "price", item, currency, price, shipping_charged, shipping_cost, materials, labour_minutes, hourly_rate, coupon_percent, offsite_ads ("off", "15%" or "12%"), offsite_share, target_margin, competitor_prices (comma-separated or "none"), notes (or "none"), fee_rates, facts (the page's sums, one line each). The reply is one JSON object: {task, headline, verdict, price, price_why, value[], coupon: {max_percent, note}, shipping: {choice, note}, offsite: {note}, competitors, steps: [{do, why}], watch[]}. ## Notes Pricing guidance, not tax, legal or accounting advice.
